TGI FRIDAY’S

– Lexington, KY

Steven Schaefer Associates provided the structural design for this new 5,650 sq ft restaurant using the brand’s smaller footprint prototype design which includes an updated look and feel. A new patio and awning has been added, and the building design was updated to the current local building code.

BEACHCLIFF MARKET SQUARE

– Rocky River, OH

Steven Schaefer Associates provided the structural design for this new 72,000 sq ft retail building with a 45,000 sq ft underground parking garage and the renovation of an existing two-story 24,000 sq ft building constructed in the early 1900’s. A large second floor opening was in-filled with a composite floor system, along with new storefront openings on the first floor. A 5,000 sq ft restaurant expansion was built on the north side of the existing building.

BRAZENHEAD IRISH PUB

– Mason, OH

Steven Schaefer Associates provided the structural design for this new two-story restaurant.  The design features a second floor balcony with cantilevered beams and gabled steel roof trusses with faux wood creating a vaulted ceiling space.  The building framing consists of bar joists and steel columns with exterior metal stud framing. The framing system was detailed to accommodate an old-world heavy timber theme.
